During this time, estrogen and progesterone levels decline, leading to a variety of symptoms such as hot flashes, night sweats, mood swings, irregular periods, and changes in libido. This life phase change can increase the risk of osteoporosis, metabolic changes and heart disease.  Very often hormonal health  of younger years is reflected in perimenopausal symptoms if has not been addressed.

A naturopathic approach to managing these hormonal symptoms focuses on  the underlying hormonal imbalances and support overall well-being.
